Crying Capitol Man

One morning, on my way to work may nakita akong mamang nakaupo sa may bangketa just outside the ER entrance. He looks like a young dad. And he was just sobbing uncontrollably. As in crying, all alone, in public, in the middle of the day.

I kinda felt an urge to stop and just ask him then I realized I can’t just do that. Sometimes, when we cry we just need to let it all out and unexpected company, from a stranger at that, might seem intrusive.

Like the Little Prince said (Ruffa Gutierrez, ikaw ba’yan?): It’s a secret place – the Land of Tears.
