With that clear, eto na ang aking standard answer. Hindi sa hindi ko ayaw, I don’t see anything wrong with working for ABS-CBN. Besides, I cannot authoritatively compare the two networks since GMA na’ko eversince (parang si Kuya Germs).

Based on what I hear lang from people who’ve worked in the other side of Bohol Avenue, mas competitive ang working atmosphere daw du’n. Talagang dog-eat-dog, survival of the fittest ang drama. Sa GMA daw mas pleasant ang mga tao towards each other. That is not to say na wala ‘yung usual pulitika at intrigahan. They tend to be mas mataray lalo na sa mga lower-ranking staff members. Si Tessbam, for example. With old-fashioned hard work at pagtitipid, good guys can finish first.

Pero since Kapuso ako, I must show some allegiance to our own, number one, real-life drama anthology (Nax!). Pero still, I don’t think my Kapuso from MKM would take offense if I pay tribute to MMK. Groundbreaking drama on TV naman talaga ang show ni Charo. I think Grade 6 ako nu’ng nag-premiere sila with “Rubbershoes” starring Romnick Sarmenta and Robert Arevalo…Yes, Naaalala Ko Pa Kaya! Nu’ng lumalaki ako, Maalaala Mo Kaya was the sterling example na all is not lost for Philippine Television kasi talagang quality program: mula sa script, sa production value, hanggang sa acting.

Notable din ang “Dream House” starring Regine Velasquez at “Sinturon” with Fanny Serrano and Gabby Concepcion.

Comments:

reeey! kakaaliw naman blog mo! pero ang mas nakakaaliw eh ang naalala mong episode ng mmk na "rubbershoes." talaga? premiere episode pala yun at si romnick ba yung kuya na namatay after he gave the rubbershoes sa younger sibling niya (tama ba?) uliyanin na kasi ako, basta alam ko nag-stick sa utak ko storya nun. kaya nga nung tv scriptwriting natin di ba based dun yung sinulat ko.
anyways, it's always nice to hear that you guys are having fun sa work. ako rin sana, ma-experience ko ang ganung fulfillment pag ganap na nurse na ako. i just graduated last april (and with honors! haha! akalain mong pwede pala yun?) i might have to wait until december to take the board exams... june is too soon. i've been very busy kasi the last few weeks for the wedding prep (we did all the legwork! from the invites to the centerpieces, giveaways and the church flowers and bouquets! ;)) tapos inaayos na namin ngayon paglipat sa mira verde. pasensiya na at di ko man lang kayo naimbitahan ha... sobrang dami kasi ng mga angkan namin. my hubby and i only had about a dozen or so friends each who came, the rest were relatives talaga. di bale, pag naayos na bahay namin, maybe you (k2 peeps) can come over -- pag nakapagpa-terrace na na overlooking para masaya (sana by december).

hey lex! thanks for reading my blog. congrats sa wedding at sa pag-graduate with honors at sa bago niyong bahay! actually, 'yung rubbershoes, namatay si robert arevalo sa ending. he played romnick's dad na nagsumikap mabigay ang hinihiling sa kanyang rubbershoes ng anak niyang nagpapanggap na mayaman sa kanyang mga friends.
