Notes at Monica's Party on High in Antipolo

Ah, I’m having the perfect life… not since my freshman days did I feel that things are OK just as they are. I’m so blessed to feel this days before I turn 30, a milestone not too many friends have warned will be emotionally difficult (and which I did not doubt kasi nga it means hindi na’ko young man in his twenties).

And today is the perfect example of this perfection.

Buntis!?
Oo, right after siyang ikasal…
Kinasal na rin si Janice?
(Hmmm, dati it is usually assumed kapag sinabig buntis…)

I call this…THE FABLE OF THE CHOCOLATE CAKE
And I’m not a fan of chocolate cake pero ‘yung cake na natikman just, well, took the cake!
I was relieved and surprised na when I went back for seconds eh meron pang two slices na natitira. Mukha kasi siyang Red Ribbon cake lang or something.
‘Yun pala dala siya ng wife ni Levy, chocolate cake from Miss Desserts in Serendra. Sobraaaang saraaaap!

This is the CENTENNIAL JOKE:
Bakit the best talaga ang UP…

Hmmm…Kung ako ‘yung banda matutuwa ako kasi ibang playing milieu ‘yun, isang balcony ng isang American Colonial South inspired home sa Antipolo, in the chilly Christmas air. Too bad hindi ako banda, wala talaga akong ka-talent-talent sa music.

Comments:
Hi Rey,

Yup, things are not what they seem.

Happy Birthday at Happy New Year!!

- Levy
